Historically speaking, man city will drop 8-10 points on average the rest of this season. They won the league last year with 86 points and no striker. We had worse problems last season and still managed 3rd and not far from 2nd. Dont tell me we cant go on a run with the players we have. Enough of this emo bullshit, let's get are heads up and let's fuckin go.

This City team has completely skewed people's view of what it takes to win a title. We have lost only 2 games out of 19 and there isn't much you can do when you are up against this level of financial doping which leads to stacking of top players in every position.

So far, we have had far too many days where we were just not good enough. Draws against Brentford and Brighton. Draw against a 10-man Chelsea at HOME. I can maybe disregard the City draw albeit we lead, TWICE ! smh… anyways. But the first 3, we defo dropped 6 points which, when you are competing against a team like City, you just cannot. Anyways, I have still not given up but the title is CIty's to loose, for sure.

For those of you who are saying that you are not giving up on the title race, please explain and tell me where are the goals gonna come from when Mo, Sadio leave for afcon ??!!
Sadio is in decline big time and we don’t even have a real replacement for him or someone to challenge him in our squad
    Just sayin

Cheer up people it's not that bad Leicester would have been up for this game especially after the EFL cup comeback. We can beat Chelsea on Sunday however City are different gravy . They have squad depth and we don't . The only way we could have really given City a real run for their money would have been to invest . for Mane & Salah to have time on the bench not only to save them from burnout but for when they are not performing . We take the Loss and move on. The title race is not over yet.

Virgil was not at fault at all for their goal. He closed the angle for the shot going to the back post so he trusted Alisson to have his front post. He never so its more on Alisson than VVD. Also Trent looks like he runs in treacle. That lad is sooooo slow

I do agree that are team has aged and it needs refreshing also with that being neglected in the last 2-3 years looks like we are regressing and without investment worried we will fall behind Chelsea soon, atleast United are so dead right now it’s laughable …

  8. Jeff Harper

I think mane has seriously regressed isn’t about scapegoating anybody but let’s be honest his first touch, his finishing his decision making is woeful. Jota was terrible as well and his stats have been masking the fact he’s been poor 95% of games term of his play with poor passing, missing sitters, decision making, touch and much more can’t just look at goals guys. Salah has been the best player in the world this season but the last 2 games he’s been anon and looks like no Salah playing well we look avoid of ideas and no attacking threat.

The lack of investment from the owners means that this team isn’t good enough anymore to sustain a title challenge. They can go on a decent run of games but then come to and abrupt halt. It’s essentially the same team from 3 years ago. FSG have zero interest in LFC on field success. They would be happy with top 4 every year and perhaps a cup trophy as long as the club remained in the black. There will be no January signings except announcement of Salah’s new contract. But I would not be surprised if Salah didn’t sign and decided to move on. There will be no summer signings except some cheap bargain bucket players with ‘potential’ for Klopp to turn into diamonds. In isolation this performance was pathetic and poor with bad decision making from Klopp wrt substitutions 🤦‍♂️

December 1st was when we pumped Everton. Since then, we have been hit and miss, needing Origi goals to win games etc. But it is Sadio Mane who is NOT helpinghis cause. We can carry him when we are winning and scoring and he is helping – without being a threat himself. But these days I expect Nothing from Sadio, nothing but running into trouble with the ball and at times just getting in the fucking way, but last night his miss was CRIMINAL!!! Free scoring Liverpool got NILLED! Not great at all…plus why have our midfield escaped blame for not scoring? Some of our Midfield fuckers dont even shoot, I dont get it! * midfielders andabout 8 goals from all of them…thats great for 4th or 5th but garbage if we want to win anything, let alone this league! Can wew become a cup team…errr NO!

If we are honest with ourselves we knew at the Start without signings to improve squad depth we would struggle against more ambitious squads spending The chances of us catching City now are diminishing and probability is Chelsea will catch us Third seems our level IF we maintain our concentration Still love them it is just the way it is without FFP. rules that actually mean something

Liverpool squad is poor, and its been showing. We've got away with it, with luck and fairy tale endings. That doesn't win you the league. What it does do, is hide the cracks and create this feeling of 'We can' . We have a good 11. After that we are dead.
We as fans have soft spots for players like Minamino, Ox, Jones, Adrian, Elliot, Origi. But let's have it right. no top side in Europe would have those players… martinelli greenwood saka Foden Mount are all better than all the players I've mentioned. If we want to lie to ourselves we'll let's just carry on. See you next season

  13. Gaalkacyo 163

Guys lets not be so reactionary and lose all hope! I believe we will turn this around if our attackers step up the remaining games! Also it would be a great move to buy back Coutinho for cheap as Barcelona is trying to get rid of him 🙂

Why is it so hard to say Pep is better than Klopp
His team play the best football or do we just think he buys best players and says make it work
Stop downplaying Pep to cheque book, apart from his first season, Pep hasn’t spent foolishly/excessively
    Give the man his flowers

  15. Checkthetapes

It’s NOT over yet boys. This is the prem. All manner of things can happen. Forget the years gone by and have some faith in the boys and the other teams. Should’ve wrapped it up today but it happens sometimes and will happen to city at some point too. YNWA

  16. Nicky B

Watching the show now 25 mins in. How would we view klopps time at Liverpool, with all these quality players, only winning the prem once and a champions league. Do we think we should have won more or do we think that 2 major trophies is about right based on klopp leaving when his contract ends
