My issues with the Jorginho acquisition were (a) fear of aging Chelsea signees (think Willian, Luis, and Cech); but, more critically (b) worry about us not seeming to identify viable targets and/or failure to bring the signings across the line. Having said that, Jorginho has been very good, and Trossard appears to have potentially been a better signing than Mudryk might've been, at least in the near term. And for January signings, that is what we needed.

Regarding what you said about gabi6. I tweeted Clive after the sp*rs away game last month. The penny dropped for him when he Kaned Kane. You know those little nudges he does on defenders when they're in the air, almost making them break their necks and then he gets the foul. Gabi learnt that that evening. He has looked after saliba and is the voice of the defensive unit.
