on the long run this will kill Mudryk and take away the spark he has as a winger who should be receiving the ball wide then use his dribbling ability , what i see happening is him doing alot of runs simply to create space for harvatz and felix without touching the ball enough ..i would agree if it was a deferent type of player but u cant do this to such a creative player who actually needs to get the ball and be involve often facing defenders face to face for him really to shine, i see the same patterns with a lot of players like him

We had Timo Werner who was making a lot of diagonal runs but we sold him ….welcome to my confused owners.
For now. Mudryk playing wherever the defence is strongest is going to help a lot. I really want to see him go against rudiger.
One big thing you missed is that this is similar to how Tuchel set up. With Werner being the striker.
Werner may not have been as successful in his personal stats, but for the team, him being there allowed us to play so much better. His pure pace and dribbling just allowed us to stretch the play and this is the role Mudryk is taking now.
Creating spaces with his pace was good but need to improve on his touches when under pressured

As a chelsea fan i cannot give him time for no reason. As of the last 3 results im happy to see what he’ll do further. But if we lose against everton and get kicked out of ucl in the first leg, I’m sorry i cannot back this guy. Outside fans will always have a chill perspective. As a chelsea fan i couldn’t care less about how bad united liverpool city were previously. But when it’s your club you follow everything and you know the most.

So a quick comment from the very beginning of the video.
You mentioned the team is outperforming their xG and OxG. That's a benefit for current form, but not a compliment to the manager. Against Leicester, our xG was 1.57, meaning we should have expected 1 or 2 goals from the match. We finished with 3, so the execution from the players was better than expected. That's a compliment to the players rather than the tactics of the manager. Leicester had an xG of 2.52, so they should have scored 2 or 3 goals. If both teams perform to their expected xG, we lose. We won the match because Leicester didn't take their chances and we did, but we did not win tactically.

As a Chelsea fan that hasn't missed a match despite living on the other side of the world, this is soooo reassuring. I also believe Tuchel was sacked way too soon, and despite believing in Potter, one can only have so much patience… 3 wins in 16 matches, 1 goal in 6 matches, etc… it was tough going. This match against Lei was great to watch, and I was happily surprised by how well we played. Your video breaks down the reasons why it was a happy surprise perfectly, and I'll definitely be watching games going forward with everything you've spoken about in mind. Fantastic analysis, and now that I'm subbed I can't wait to see more great content like this!

I think it's an interesting point. My concern then is nkunku will be arriving and how is he gonna fit in? I think he would go in as a striker in my opinion. Also with alternating a team keeps its fitness managed with injuries but also trying to keep so many players happy and playing well is the task at hand. But I like playing attacking football and seeing that under potter now as time was the key factor new squad, injuries etc. Time will tell how we gonna be moving forward
