Costa is making the case for a one-year extension. He looked way off the pace and over the hill at first, but now he seems to have adjusted back, in physicality and speed of thought, to Premier League play and has clearly worked hard to have attain match fitness after such a long lay off. Such a clever, astute and thoughtful player too; our forwards (whoever they may be next season) could learn a lot from him if a deal can be struck even if his playing time is limited.

If we have the money and he is willing to sign then I think we should go ahead. He could be a boon in coaching Kalajdzic and Fabio Silva next season if they are part of the squad and Cunha, Podence, Jimenez (in the unlikely scenario that Raul is retained) too. Whether Costa plays next season or not, his experience and application is an asset the club can not afford to throw away after a season where our goalscoring record has been truly abject.

This game basically showed why both sides are in a relegation fight.
Wolves were all over Leicester in the first half but werent clinical enough to get the second goal, and then Wolves were rubbish in the second half. To conclude, both sides were gash, and if either team goes down they can have no complaints.

Got what we deserved, again Manager making poor subs decisions, controlled majority of first half Leicester looked shaky and we did not take advantage, at times no urgency did not look as if we would equalise, frustrating performance, not helped by woeful decisions made by the Manager

At best , a casual performance today. Why is Raul not involved with the team? Don't try and tell me that Costa or Chang are better than the Mexican. Wolves need goals and leaving a striker like Raul out of the team doesn't make sense. Lastly, where was Semedo for the winning goal…..way out of position and not for the first time.

Massive mistake to bring Diego Costa off – absolutely no need as he had the energy and drive and galvanised the entire team – had he stayed on we could have maintained momentum and at least got a point- yes Gomes man of match – We must beat Palace on Tuesday !

Wow, it just amazes me people are still surprised about this result, we are just shite against lesser clubs, no consistency and again, back in the dogfight for relegation. Fortunately results for Leeds, Notts Forest and the Saints have gone our way so a little respite. I have supported Wolves for over 50 years and still had a bet on Leicester today, it was a cert and paid for tonight’s curry with the family. Keep smiling Dave, that’s all we can do 🫤

Started off so well got the goal and was far better than them ,then sar wtf was he doing😮 penalty changed it ,have we not got another goalie, really don’t rate him cannot kick a ball to save his life ,he’s a liability,

Provided most of those below Wolves keep loosing they will be ok – but need to beat Palace on Tuesday – at home which should be possible – pity to bring Costa off at all and Adama on so late in the game😊

would be great snatch a point at KP but again we found to way lose there, and Lopetegui subs all didnt went right there, specially Moutinho didnt offer anything COYW🐺

Sa was shaky against Brentford at times, always got a mistake in him. He cost us big time today. Not having a focal point on the bench if Costa goes off is costing us. Mystifying.

    Line up was perfect
Subs were 50/50. Neves and Joao to try dominate midfield, Hwang didn’t have the best of time but he wasn’t really given the opportunity to shine, Neto and Podence was awful decisions due to the fact that podence for me offers nothing and Neto isn’t the same anymore and I feel like Adama would of made a bigger impact but yeh it was a shocking result in the end

Got what we deserved which was nothing. Same old rubbish. No goal threat and mistakes at the wrong times. If we stay up we got lucky that the league was garbage this year. I ain’t convinced by the manager yet either. Some really bad substitutes again, made us worse. The thing that worries me the most is we don’t have a way of playing, most teams set up in a certain way and they have an identity. Not with us, it’s like we just throw players in and hope for the best. Lose in the week and we are in major trouble again.

I predicted a 0-2 defeat in the Guardian. This had all the makings of a match where our "pretty" play would dominate possession, but Leicester's greater NEED, determination and aggression would result in a goal or two. Had a fairly dodgy stream to watch on for the first half but we seemed to be all over them until the penalty. From then on the lack of penetration into the opposition box was just so infuriating.

Bringing Neves on for Lemina has backfired spectacularly today. Suddenly we were static with possession at the back waiting for Neves to be free ro pass to and then expecting attacks could be built on him pinging 40 yard balls from the half-way line against a defence that has had plenty of time to set. Arrrrggghh!

Spent the last half-hour wondering why Costa was taken off when we were crying out for a presence in the box, even just someone standing there would have made it look as though we had a chance of perhaps shooting at goal?

I love tikka-taka play and detest lumping it in to the mixer for the Big Man to contest, but the intricacy of interpassing and movement outside the box needs to be crisp and respond speedily and decisively to blindside runs, movement off the ball – yet we were so static when in possession – no wonder the opposition is unfazed.

We desperately needed not to lose this match. A lot of pressure on the Palace game now and they are a far better and more dangerous side than Leicester. Steady nerves needed now and having the guts to leave Neves on the bench, if what he has to offer effectively blunts our mobility.

I think we need a new keeper. Sa has always got a mistake in him, and his distribution is poor. Some of the tinkering wasn't required: Lemina & Costa should have stayed on. Given our first half superiority, we should have been a couple of goals up and in a position to manage the game.
I think we'll stay up this season, but I worry that we will have a similar struggle next season if we keep with the same formation and tactics,

Our manager lost us this game. Took out lemina and immediately you could see they were all over us and their attacks were coming through the middle where he would have been. Again questionable game management

this season can't finish soon enough. We're already safe, we'll see when it's a totally JLo team. There's still some Lage stink remaining.

Feels like such an avoidable defeat that. Leicester were all over the place first 30 mins. Gaps across the pitch and we just didn't finish them off. The Sa penalty and Moutinho/Neves slowing the game down didn't help but it's our inability to be clinical which keeps costing us. We give these crap teams so much confidence by not slicing them to pieces and making the domination count.
