Now the transfer rumour silliness is over, we are looking like a solid side again. So different to a month ago. I think we were unlucky not get points from this game. The KDB free kick was world class, as was the Grealish acting falling over to get it..
Old habits die hard concerning Harvey Barnes to over dribble, heavy touches , not courageous enough to start attacking formation by substitution right after the first half. Too late tactical change and giving too much respect to the opponent at an early stages. Playing more for a draw rather than the desire to win. Nevertheless , heartened to see them not quitting and pushing forward causing some anxious moments for Manchester City. What happened to Fearless Foxes which won them the title. Take the game to the opponent no matter how much stronger they are on paper. Need to instill courage and bravery by overcoming fear and being over cautious with your approach hence losing your natural game. Remember you are second to none on your day. Mendy the culprit for making unnecessary contact from behind causing a free kick to be given hence the goal by De Bruyne. Silly mistakes like these can be avoided but happens very frequently. Overall , a good outing by the boys.

Our team showed good defensive concentration in the first half, but in the second half, I thought what would have happened if we had played offense more frequently than counterattacks in the absence of Halland. After losing a point, Daka's pressure was desperately needed, and it would have been nice if the replacement was made early. I hope we prepare well for the next game.😊

There's no way you can chase them down from the start, their whole team is pretty much world class. Seems the idea was to sit tight for 70 minutes or so, and then use the energy for a final push. And it almost worked – the only difference was down to 2 amazing moments. One of them came off, and the other didn't.
