🤣🤣 Look at all the them idiots in the comment section now, Leicester top of the table and too good for the Championship, going back up with Southampton in 2nd. Everyone here thinking they're a Leicester City expert off and on the pitch, if you ain't a fan just stfu about Leicester and support you goddamn teams ffs, you know feckall about Leicester City.

It sucks as a fan of football to see this happen. Even as an Arsenal fan, watching Leicester and rooting for them was easy. They were a darling team, doing things the right way, even when year after year, the vultures circled their squad poaching top talent away from them. However, it is an unfortunate part of the league and the big money era that we are living in (as Brighton may find out the hard way one day). The law of averages says that no matter how good your recruitment is, and no matter how good you are at spotting talent, if you have to depend on that talent to pull you out of trouble, year after year, it is going to go bad. There are 2 ways stories like this can go. Either Leicester kept getting lucky enough to find this talent, and kept being consistent fighting for trophies and developing a brand to stay within that top 6-8 team area for a good decade to be able to financially compete with the big boys. Or what has actually happened, and is most likely to happen. You get a couple of bad transfer window, along with the league becoming more competitive and start stumbling down the proverbial steps towards the drop zone. I remember Liverpool after their big spend era of the late 00's, how they were relegated to the 6th-8th spot for years until Rodgers and Suarez single handedly saved them. Then came Klopp and the rest is history. Arsenal not too recently, were in danger of going down the same road till Arteta came along. I think the biggest lesson I take from this is we need some level of financial restrictions on clubs (doesn't have to be a lot more than already is) to stop this from happening, it is going to make the league boring.

One factor that no matter talks about is overrating Jamie Vardy and thinking his play style will still work in 2023 to the point we signed daka just because he has vardys play style

Quite sad seeing the fall in such a short period going from winning the Premier League to staring relegation I the face now….i mean the relegation battle is so close any of the bottom six still could go down its still very close down there. Apart from Southampton who I think are now doomed.

As a derby county fan I feel really sorry what as happened to Leicester city they where a very good side in fact the best in the East Midlands not now though I think the players are to blame for all that is happening…..good luck Leicester in the last few games …

Yo this video talks about a lot of stuff that led to the team's decline, minus the death of the owner of the team, I actually think that was the moment Leicester decline began, he seemed to be the best owner of all the PL and surely was a big influence on the mentality of the team, with his loss everything began to crumble.

Never been a Leicester fan, but I respect the club. A few years after my favourite team won the championship in Romania it gone bankrupt. Hopefully Leicester will remain in the Premier League to cause more havoc for the big 6 in the future.

As a Midlander and Villa supporter, I was thrilled and proud of Leicester 's world renowned performance and acheivements; a Faireytail come true. I followed their up's and downs , as all clubs do, but never thought things would become so bad. BUT, even so, a new season, and a new mountain, waits to be climbed.

  9. @rorrt

The Prem is better with them in it..
As a disinterested party, I can see them tumbling down the divisions if they get relegated. In a similar fashion to Sunderland, Portsmouth or Wigan who are a yoyo club between the Champship and Lge 1..

I don't see how they could stabilise after relegation with the amount they've spent. Sure Burney managed it, but we'll see next season.

Ever since we spanked up Leicester in the FA Cup and some of their disgusting fans smashed up family pubs in Nottingham and one ran on the pitch to attack our players, Leicester have gone downhill and crumbled.

  11. @darkoanton5

They have tanked for two main reasons. Jamie Vardy turned 36 this season, and his goal production has fallen off a cliff. Who has picked up his slack? Secondly, losing Schmeichel has certainly had an impact in goal and also within the club.

  12. @manubrezina

They didn’t renew the squad correctly neither in time, I think they will stay up, as they have great players imo. But next season sth has to change because if not, they will finally get relegated

  13. @BADWOLF-cs6ow

Leicester winning the premier league title was a brilliant achievement and tbh id forgot they won the fa cup recently. Shame to see them in such a dire situation. Hope they can pull of another miracle!

  14. @willbentley8856

As the investment in Premier League clubs continues to balloon, the financial effect of relegation is becoming insane. Billions in investment becoming nothing and sending clubs into financial ruin.

  15. @hudson7354

Here we go. The Leicester FFP CHEATS are coming to the championship to disregard the rules again and cheat there way to promotion. Why the hell don’t the other clubs make a stand and stop the cheats ?
