Its funny how every utd fan was expecting to win or even challenging for the title with the addition of Varane, Ronaldo and Sancho. Ole did not even bother to keep the balances with Ronaldo, Cavani, Sancho, Fernades, Rashford, Martial, Greenwood, Lingard, Mata and Pogba in the team for the front places, as he was eager to win a title. An experience coach though, would had chosen to keep the balances in the team with so many strong personalities. I remember having some hot discussions with a rival utd friend, that he was claiming that with Christiano as a leader and with utd history utd may well overcome city. I just said that defense win titles and utd conceded more goals last year than LFC, who were playing without defenders. Most realistic scenario was CL football for utd, with LFC depending on VVD returning form and Salah/Mane availability.
