LEICESTER CITY FC 1974 – 'This Is The Season For Us' – 45rpm

Wasn’t a bad one. The Foxes reached the FA Cup semi’s, only to be beat by Liverpool.
Plus they finished a respectable 9th in the old First Division

Produced by Trevor Horn (yep, THE Trevor Horn – singer of The Buggles and Yes, producer of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Art of Noise, etc. etc.) while he was house band leader and bass player (7 nights a week!) at Baileys night club on the clock tower. He used to have a studio on the Loughborough Road called Drumbeat where this was recorded. No sign of his name on the label, but that's who did it!

was a screw at welford rd nick when this team played. off duty 4pm on Saturdays, dash down to filbert st and get the last 30 minutes, david nish was a terrific player, not given nearly enough publicity for his contributions to the foxes

yes correct, if you would like to listen to that B side then take at trip to the gate pub in bisbrooke rutland as they have it on their jukebox- you will need to exchange a 50p for an old larger style 50p though to get the machine to work.
