2016 was THE Year of the Underdog. We got to see Leicester City win the title in the Premier League, and then in the U.S. we had the Chicago Cubs win their first World Series in 108 years in what I still feel is one of the more dramatic baseball games of all time. It might not have been the best but holy crap it was dramatic: 7th and final game of the series, extra innings, back and forth game. And I'll admit I wasn't a fan of either team before that year, but I cried when each one took their championship. One because of the pure impossible shock and one because they finally dispelled the title of cursed losers.
